Productivity Measure

We work

You work and I work

Don’t bother me. I’m working

I won’t bother you. I see you’re working.

We work and never mind what happens

In the meantime

Never mind what we lose and gain and lose again

In bathroom breaks

And coffee breaks

And heart breaks

And headaches

We’re working; don’t bother us

It’s not the time for all that

Not the time for personal matters

Not the time for a person to matter

I’m working. I don’t want to deal with this

I’m working. This isn’t the time to deal with this

I’m working. You deal with this

I’m working. I shouldn’t have to deal with this

Work should come first

I can’t expect to come first

Unless I was your work

And thank God I’m not

Because then you would hate me

I’ll pass on a task on your list

I’ll forfeit a fit in your schedule

You’re working, so I’ll leave you alone

And if you’re always working

Then I’ll always leave you alone

Can we talk about this later, please?

I’m working.
